I joined the lab as a final year undergraduate student (August 2019), working on a project investigating the transcriptomics of CD8+ T cell exhaustion in PLWH. After receiving my BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Malaya, I continue my research journey as a PhD student in the medical science program (March 2021), working under the co-supervision of Prof Adeeba Kamarulzaman, A/P Dr Reena Rajasuriar and A/P Dr Won Fen Wong, as well as Dr Kian-Kai Cheng from UTM. I am interested in cellular exhaustion, and my current research explores the T cell metabolism associated with exhaustion.
