Chalystha Yie Qin Lee
I pursued a BSc Biomedical Science undergraduate degree from University of Malaya as part of the 2014/2018 cohort. I joined WWF lab mid 2017 for my final year honours project investigating the role of toll-like receptors (TLR) and C-type lectin receptors (CLR) in Helicobacter pylori infection. After graduating, I stayed on in the lab for another year as a research assistant. In 2019, I was awarded the RMIT Research Stipend Scholarship to pursue her PhD at RMIT University, Melbourne in the Gut-Brain Axis Lab under A/Prof. Elisa Hill-Yardin. Currently, my research interest focuses on neuro-immune interactions and the gut-brain axis in neurodevelopmental disorders.
